The Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP) received, on June 3, an institutional delegation from Romania, within the scope of cooperation in the area of Education.
The entourage included the Vice-President of Argeș County, the Director for Education, Youth and Culture of the County Council, two school inspectors and the Director of the CJRAE Argeș Educational Centre, who travelled to AMP to learn about the work carried out in the metropolitan area in this field.
The delegation was received by the Metropolitan Executive Officer Ana Amorim, who presented the work developed by the AMP in the area of Education, highlighting its role in inter-municipal coordination, in the planning of the educational offer network and in bringing together different entities in the sector.
The visit included moments of sharing and dialogue, allowing the exchange of experiences and best practices between the two territorial realities, reinforcing the common interest in developing more effective and collaborative education policies.
The visit of the Romanian delegation is part of a broader set of international contacts of the Porto Metropolitan Area, which has often been sought by foreign delegations interested in getting to know its work in the most diverse areas of intervention, standing out as a reference in inter-municipal cooperation and territorial development.
The Porto Metropolitan Area remains fully available to deepen future collaborations with international entities, sharing its knowledge and strengthening cooperation networks.
