A competitive Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP) does not need to choose between economy and quality of life, between companies and people or between technology and human intelligence. It can strengthen all these areas. Nor does it need to erase the differences between its municipalities. On the contrary, it must turn them into a shared advantage.
“Because growing and innovating does not have to mean choosing between economy and quality of life, companies and people, technology and human intelligence”, says the Metropolitan Executive Officer for Economic Development, Andreia Ferreira, advocating convergence between all these areas.
Hence the partnership between the AMP and Happiness Camp, the largest European conference on the future of work, which will take place on September 24, in the Alfândega do Porto building, for being a space “for meeting and discussing the challenges that are transforming the way we work, lead, innovate and relate to technology”, as Andreia Ferreira maintains.
Artificial intelligence, leadership, human behaviour, digital health, employer branding and organizational culture will be among the topics highlighted, with the participation of some of the most relevant international voices in these areas.
Under this partnership, 500 places were reserved for students, teachers, researchers and alumni of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required on the AMP dedicated page: https://mkt.egoi.page/4e2Pe880L/AMP-free-pass?=
