The Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP) will be a partner of the largest European conference dedicated to Human Sustainability and the Future of Work, Happiness Camp 2026, which takes place on September 24, at Alfândega do Porto.

The Happiness Camp will bring together some of the world's most influential voices in the areas of artificial intelligence, leadership, human behaviour, digital health, employer branding and organizational culture.

Over the course of a day, topics such as responsible artificial intelligence, biometrics, leadership, talent attraction and development, organizational well-being, culture, human behaviour and the impact of technology on people and organizations will be discussed.

Confirmed speakers include Steven Bartlett, founder of Steven.com and host of The Diary of a CEO podcast; Adam Hickman, VP of Employee Development, Talent Management and HRIS at The Walt Disney Company; Camille Phillips, Global Head of Employer Branding at Meta; Dr Miriah Steiger, Global Head of Psychological Health & Wellbeing at TikTok; Mariana van Zeller, journalist with multiple Emmy Awards and Peabody Award; and Reha Jhunjhunwala, Senior Director of Digital Health Products at WHOOP.

Under this partnership, 500 places were reserved for students, teachers, researchers and alumni of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. Participation is free, but capacity is limited, so it will be convenient to book a seat in advance via the AMP dedicated page: HC Ext With AMP.

Participation includes access to the conference, certification equivalent to eight hours of training and the opportunity to contact leaders, researchers, professionals and experts from more than 80 countries.
