On Friday, 21 March, the Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP) welcomed Pedro Dominguinhos, President of the National Monitoring Committee for the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP). The visit was also attended by Teresa Sá Marques, member of the same commission, and Sandra Pinto, Chief of Staff, and aimed to closely monitor the projects of the Action Plan for Disadvantaged Communities in the region.
The delegation was welcomed and accompanied by the CEO of the AMP, Ariana Pinho, who reinforced the institution's commitment to promoting social inclusion and improving the quality of life of communities.
During the visit, it was possible to witness the real impact that these projects are having on the territory and local populations. As expressed by Júlia, a user of the literacy project in Matosinhos, these initiatives allow people to ”gain new eyes, but inside their heads!”
