An action of monitoring and supervision of investment C03-i06.03 – Integrated Operation in Disadvantaged Communites in the Porto Metropolitan Area was held on 3 and 4 June 2025, by members of the “Recover Portugal” Resilience Team, within the Action Plan for Monitoring Themed Coordination (PAACT).

This plan aims to monitor the progress of investments under the RRP, as well as to ensure compliance with contractually established obligations, in accordance with applicable national and European regulations. The action focused on aspects such as investment implementation, compliance with milestones and targets, public procurement, and financial execution.

The “Recover Portugal” team consisted of Ana Margarida Silva, Margarida Veleda, Elisabete Santos (independent certified accountant) and the coordinator of the Resilience Component of “Recover Portugal”, Conceição Carvalho. On behalf of the AMP, the action was monitored by the investment team, led by theAMP’s Chief Executive Officer, Ariana Pinho.

The first day of the visit, 3 June, took place at the AMP facilities.

On 4 June, the action took place in two AMP municipalities:

- 10:00 – Póvoa de Varzim: visit to project 1186 – É Bom Viver no Bairro (It's Good to Live in the Neighbourhood), passing through the Nova Sintra and Pescadores neighbourhoods and finishing at the Casa da Juventude (Youth Centre), where a cultural entertainment activity of the project was taking place.

- 14:30 – Paredes: visit to project 2504 – Centro de Valorização Integrada do Mobiliário e Artes em Madeira de Paredes (Paredes Centre for the Integrated Valorisation of Furniture and Wood Arts), monitoring the work in progress.
