The project "AMP - Património Cultural: Jornadas Metropolitanas do Património" (AMP – Cultural Heritage: Metropolitan Heritage Days) was shortlisted for the “Prémios dos Fundos Europeus 2025” (European Funds Awards 2025), in the category “Portugal + Próximo dos Cidadãos” (Portugal Closer to Citizens).

The distinction reflects the quality and relevance of this initiative, which promotes the valorisation of metropolitan cultural heritage, reinforcing territorial identity, social cohesion and bringing citizens closer to their roots.

On 18 October, at the Convent of São Francisco in Coimbra, the AMP will be presenting its project to a jury at a public pitch session to determine the winners in each category.

This event is part of the 2nd edition of the Mostra dos Fundos Europeus (European Funds Demonstration), which will take place from 16 to 18 October, bringing together projects funded by the European Union that are transforming the country and inspiring the future.

In addition to the jury's assessment, the “Public Vote” is also underway, open until 17 October. Each person can only vote once, so it is essential to have the support of everyone to highlight the work carried out by the AMP.
