Getting to know ColorADD
The ColorADD Colour Identification System has been granted the Gold Medal Award in the Celebrations of the 50th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This tool seeks to make sure that colour-blind people are not excluded whenever colour plays a decisive part in communication and learning.
ColorADD and Education in the AMP
Within the strategic scope of education, ColorADD Social is raising awareness among the AMP’s primary school educational community of colour blindness and its impact on early social exclusion.
The “Awareness Sessions” are the first step towards a “more colour-inclusive school”, gathering teachers, SNE included, school staff, students and parents.
ColorADD SOCIAL also promotes “Colour blindness Screening Actions” and the implementation of the Colour Identification System in school facilities, namely in school libraries, following the UDC recommendations (UNESCO).
