The Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP), in partnership with the Porto Academic Federation (FAP), promoted the Tomorrow Summit in 2022 and 2023, a project that reinforces the AMP's commitment to youth as a driver of territorial development and social innovation.

This metropolitan project aimed to promote equal access to opportunities for young people from all municipalities in the AMP, bringing them closer to academia, training options and the dynamics of the current and emerging labour market. In addition, it provided opportunities for active participation and training, valuing the role of young people in building more inclusive and effective public policies.

Reaching around 1,600 young people over two years, the Tomorrow Summit involved all 17 municipalities in the AMP, consolidating itself as a strategic initiative that strengthens territorial cohesion and the link between youth, knowledge and innovation.

This project highlights the role of the AMP as a facilitator of networks and best practices, placing young people at the centre of sustainable development and regional cooperation strategies.
