The Metropolitan Entrepreneur Award pays public homage to people whose innovative action and active entrepreneurship is considered vital for the development of the Porto Metropolitan Area’s territory and for the creation of value for the Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP).

The nomination of the personality or entity to be awarded is the responsibility of each of the AMP municipalities.

By awarding the accomplishment of these entities and people, the AMP is recognizing local ambition, creativity and resilience that make this region an important booster for the country’s development and an excellent place to work and invest.

Although the prize is symbolic, its goal is to highlight the best examples of accomplishment and innovation, inspiring the whole community.
