WINNER
Topame Pesca - Transformation and Optimization through an Ecological Modeling and Analysis Platform (Póvoa de Varzim)
In the last years, one of the expenses that suffered the biggest increase, both from a business and family point of view, was the fossil fuel, affecting mainly the fishing activity, which has more precarious staff. The creation of a technology-based start-up, where a more focused service is provided to the primary Fishing sector may be the solution to reduce the costs with fuel consumption, as well as to help in the search for fish. It is essentially a social responsibility towards these families that need help so much.
SECOND PLACE
DIAPOTEK - Therapeutic Management (Gondomar)
In 2012, in Portugal, were spent nearly 500 Million Euros in medicines for the treatment of Hypertension and only 10% of patients could effectively control their blood pressure. The problem arises from the belief that when facing a health problem it is enough to take a medicine for it to be solved. However most of the time there are problems related to medication that distance the medicine from its goal. DIAPOTEK is an innovative project that aims to support all stakeholders along the medicine circuit.
THIRD PLACE
WelcomeHOME - cooperative project oriented towards the support of homeless people (Porto)
The social problem that we intend to solve is the amount of homeless people in the city of Porto, and to demystify some prejudices related to the population in question, allowing this population to have work opportunities, adequate training and continued psychosocial support through tourism. The project consists of the development of the Oporto QR-code, a specific type of two-dimensional bar code that can be scanned by smartphones or tablets through their camera, placed at various key points throughout the city (streets, squares, cemeteries, monuments and commercial establishments). It is synchronized with an online platform that allows free access to cultural information and historical curiosities, as well as information regarding events, restaurants and traditional trade.

More Me - Design and Production of Female Clothing "Veste Fácil" (São João Madeira)
How difficult can it be for people with reduced physical mobility to dress and change clothes after bathing, and can it result in a feeling of inefficiency? “More me” will fill this gap through the creation and production of clothing with innovative design, easy to dress and undress, and with which a person with reduced physical mobility is able to perform the task for himself. The brand's motto is that it can be worn by everyone, without differentiating and minimising the consequences and difficulties of temporary or permanent mobility challenges.

Associação Desporto para todos (ADPT) (Gaia)
Focused on Adapted Sports and aimed at attracting young people with disabilities and their subsequent integration into the competition circuits. The sports practice opportunities for people with disabilities are scarce and little publicised. Furthermore, those that are available seem to privilege sports only as a therapeutic tool and recreational activity, although these aspects are also essential for these citizens. This prevents these citizens to access Paralympic high-performance competition and to envisage sports as a professional occupation. The idea is to develop a close cooperation with adapted physical activity professionals and therapists in order to raise the paralympic movement to the social and media recognition it deserves, once and for all.
Bolsa Jovens Talentos – Supporting Portugal’s future talent (Porto)
Income inequalities seem to be the main factor for schooling deficit. Many families, due to their economic situation, have difficulties in investing in the training of their talented youngsters. By creating a support mechanism for young people with career prospects, through the creation of a dynamic online platform and the support of private companies, Bolsa JT intends to reverse the social problem of the lack of support for young talent without resources as well as to enhance the future of Portuguese society with a concrete strategy for raising its young people.
