A new meeting of the Strategic Planning Support Group (GAPE) - AMP2030 took place on 26 April 2023, gathering external and internal experts, representatives of the 17 municipalities, officers and directors of the Porto Metropolitan Area and the AMP’s Executive Board. This meeting aimed at presenting the current situation of the work and the timetable for the creation of the AMP 2030 Action Plan. 

At the previous meeting (3/4/2023), an approach was made to the diagnosis and comments on the survey of municipal investment intentions presented in the thematic areas of:

• Decarbonisation and energy transition;

• Competitiveness and innovation;

• Student success;

• Green infrastructure;

• Sustainable mobility and flexible transport.

In this meeting, an approach was made to the diagnosis and comments on the survey of municipal investment intentions presented in the missing thematic areas:

• Culture and creativity;

• Tourism;

• Civil protection and integrated risk management;

• Digitalisation;

• Urban water cycle and urban waste management;

• Climate change/GIS/urban system enhancement.

A number of constraints were also identified and/or solutions sought to allow greater connection with the AMP 2030 Strategy.

Another meeting of the Strategic Planning Support Group (GAPE) - AMP2030 took place on 3 April 2023. This meeting also served as a liaison workshop with experts, representatives of the 17 municipalities, officers and directors of the Porto Metropolitan Area and the AMP’s Executive Board, with the aim of presenting the current situation of the work and the timetable for the creation of the AMP 2030 Action Plan.

A number of constraints were identified and solutions sought to enable greater connection with the AMP 2030 Strategy.

Another meeting/workshop of the Strategic Planning Support Group (GAPE) - AMP2030 took place on 27 March 2023, connecting experts, officers and the AMP’s Executive Board, with the aim of presenting the current situation of the work and the timetable for the creation of the AMP 2030 Action Plan.
